These Keto Lettuce Wraps make a brilliant quick lunch that you can fill with your choice of healthy fillings.

Simple Ingredients For The Easy Recipe

The ingredients for the delicious meal

Here are the basic ingredients that you’ll need plus lots of ideas for different toppings you could add that are all keto lifestyle approved:

Lettuce – you can turn any kind of lettuce into tasty wraps, choose from Romaine lettuce, butter lettuce or Boston lettuce. 

Sour Cream – my delicious sauce is to simple mix the tuna with plenty of sour cream, you can feel free to swap for mayo or Greek yogurt instead.

Or, swap a creamy sauce for a sauce made with a mix of other flavorful ingredients such as soy sauce, extra virgin olive oil, sesame oil and a squeeze of lime juice or lemon juice instead. 

Adding sour cream to the tuna

Tuna – my protein of choice is a drained tin of tuna, you can use any tin that you usually include in your diet. Or, swap the keto diet friendly protein for sliced hard-boiled eggs for egg mayo filled lettuce leaves. For a meaty meal, you can fill your chosen type of lettuce with cooked ground chicken or ground beef. 

Seasonings – a great option is to simply flavor your filling with sea salt and black pepper, but you could also add in garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, Italian seasoning or red pepper flakes. 

Vegetables – add in chopped vegetables for an even more nutritious low-carb recipe, choose from chopped green onions, water chestnuts, red onion, bell pepper or crushed fresh garlic or fresh ginger.

How to make easy low carb keto lettuce wraps

  • Lettuce
  • Tuna Tin
  • Sour Cream
  • Seasoning & Toppings of Choice
  1. Separate the lettuce into wraps, wash and trim them if needed.
  2. Drain the tin of tuna into a small bowl, add in the sour cream and any seasonings or toppings of choice then mix well to combine.
  3. Top the prepared lettuce wraps with the tuna mixture then fold into wraps and enjoy immediately or move to an airtight container, store in the fridge and enjoy within 24 hours.
