Prepare the mushroom sauce first by chopping mushrooms into bite sized pieces.

Heat butter in a frying pan and when hot cook the mushrooms until reduced, adding more butter if it needs it.

Once the mushrooms are cooked to your liking, pour over cream and bring to a bubble. Cook until thickened.

Move the mushrooms to a plate, clean out the frying pan and melt more butter to cook the steak.

Remove the steak from the fridge 5 minutes before you need it, to come up to room temperature.

Once the frying pan is hot, cook the steak for 3-5 minutes a side, or to your liking.

Serve with the mushrooms and enjoy!
