Scrambled Eggs With Cream Cheese Recipe - How to make a quick and easy creamy low carb high protein keto

Scrambled Eggs With Cream Cheese

These scrambled eggs with cream cheese make an easy, creamy and super quick breakfast that’s low carb, high protein and keto friendly.

You’ll discover that whisking rich cream cheese into a scrambled egg mixture is the best way to create super creamy eggs that are an indulgent way to start your day, while helping you stay on plan to achieve your own personal health and weight loss goals.

The Simple Ingredients For The Easy Recipe

Cooking the low carb high protein breakfast

Here are all of the basic low-carb diet ingredients that you’ll need for the simple recipe:

Large Eggs – include 2-3 eggs per person, depending on how many eggs you usually like in your soft eggs meals.

Cream Cheese – the luxuriously creamy ingredient is naturally low in carbs and high in healthy g fat and g protein. You can swap some or all of the cream cheese for sour cream or heavy cream, depending on what you have in your kitchen, and still achieve eggs with a creamy texture.

Seasoning – sprinkle eggs with salt, black pepper or your seasoning of choice such as garlic powder, onion powder or even Italian seasoning.

Adding spinach into the easy keto breakfast

Spinach – to make the dish into a whole, balance meal and balance the richness of the other ingredients, I’ve added in a handful of nutritious spinach in the last minute of cooking. You can swap for a little chopped green onion or chives if you’d prefer.

You could also add in more low carb vegetables such as chopped cherry tomatoes, red pepper, mushrooms or avocado, cooking the vegetables if you’d prefer before you cook the eggs.

More Cheese – in addition to the cream cheese in the eggs, you can crumble a little bit of feta cheese or grate over parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack for extra cheesy eggs.

Keto Protein Pancakes Recipe - Easy Low Carb High-Protein & Gluten-Free Breakfast Idea

Keto Protein Pancakes

This keto protein pancakes recipe makes a super high protein breakfast option that you can enjoy warm straight from the stove top or allow to cool then keep in the fridge to grab and go as a speedy breakfast option.

The best thing is that you’ll only need 4 main ingredients and the simple protein pancakes recipe comes together really quickly so it makes a brilliant quick high protein dish to enjoy for breakfast or breakfast for dinner any day of the week.

The Simple Ingredients For The Easy Recipe

The healthy ingredients you'll need for the easy recipe

Here are the ingredients that you’ll need to create the easy low carb pancakes:

Onion – slightly higher in g net carbs than other vegetables, so use as little or as much as you’d like, depending on how many carbs you’d like to allocate to your meal. You can chop, dice or grate the onion into the low-carb pancakes batter.

Mince – I’ve included ground beef mince, but you can feel free to swap for another mince such as turkey, lamb, chicken or pork instead depending on your tastes and dietary requirements. The mince adds plenty of flavor as well as grams of protein to the pancakes that make a healthy breakfast meal.

Mixing the ingredients together

Seasonings – add in your seasoning of choice to flavor the keto pancake recipe to your own personal tastes, I simply added in a few shakes of salt, but you could also add in black pepper, oregano, Italian seasoning or garlic powder.

Eggs – even more protein is added to the protein pancake recipe by way of eggs to bind the batter together, without the need for any flour at all.

Extra Ingredients – you can flavor or season your delicious pancakes with your low carb diet friendly ingredients of choice, and enjoy your portion as is or topped with sour cream for more healthy fats.

  1. Heat a skillet or large nonstick frying pan over medium heat on the stove top and add your choice of coconut oil, cooking spray or butter to melt.
  2. Once the frying pan is hot, carefully add in the diced onion, meat, salt and any other seasoning you’d like.
  3. Cook the meat, tossing regularly, until the meat has fully browned, then remove it from the pan and move it into a bowl.

    Keto Corned Beef Hash Recipe

Keto Corned Beef Hash Recipe – Easy Crispy Low Carb Irish Inspired Breakfast Idea – With The Video Tutorial.

Keto Corned Beef Hash Recipe - Easy Crispy Low Carb Irish Inspired Breakfast Idea

    Keto Corned Beef Hash

This keto corned beef hash is the perfect way to enjoy leftover corned beef in a meal that makes a protein rich breakfast or breakfast for dinner.

You can prepare this any time of year, whether that’s around St. Patrick’s Day or simply to enjoy a tasty, hearty meal that will help you achieve your own personal health and weight loss goals.

    Low Carb Diet Friendly Ingredients

Meal Prep Airtight Container with leftovers

Here are the low-carb diet friendly ingredients that are included in the keto corn beef hash:

Corned Beef –  I used leftover corned beef that I shared the easy recipe for recently, you can also swap and use beef brisket, roast beef or any other leftover already cooked meat you’d like.

Cabbage – I’ve used sliced cabbage as the potato substitute that you usually find in a breakfast hash. The cabbage that I used in this dish was already cooked, along with the corned beef, the day before. If you’re using fresh cabbage, then be sure to give it a head start by frying it for about 5-10 minutes, until softened and ready to go into your breakfast hash.

Frying leftover beef and cabbage together

Eggs – adding in a fried egg or two adds in additional protein and flavor to the corned beef recipe.

More Keto Diet Ingredient Ideas – there are plenty of extra ingredients and good substitutes that you can add to the corned beef mixture to satisfy your taste buds. Instead of simple salt and pepper add in your seasoning of choice, such as chilli flakes or garlic powder, or herbs like fresh chives.

You can also feel free to swap the cabbage for chopped broccoli, bell pepper, cauliflower or cauliflower rice instead. You can also make this breakfast with pre-cooked deli meat or even salami that’s lowest in g net carbs that you can find at your local grocery store.

Make It A Reuben – create a keto version of a classic Reuben by adding grated cheese, sauerkraut and Russian dressing to the finished dish.

      Eggs With Sun Dried Tomatoes

Eggs With Sun Dried Tomatoes – How to make an easy low carb keto friendly scrambled egg breakfast with sun-dried tomatoes.

Eggs With Sun Dried Tomatoes - How to make an easy low carb keto friendly scrambled egg breakfast

      Eggs With Sun Dried Tomatoes

This Eggs With Sun Dried Tomatoes recipe makes a super quick and easy, flavorful breakfast or breakfast for dinner.

The egg scramble is a great way to use up some sundried tomatoes, when you have a bottle open, or you can open one especially for this flavorful dish and then enjoy it each morning of the week, or any time of day.

You’ll see that the meal comes together in mere minutes. You simply heat a skillet or frying pan until hot, (shop skillets on Amazon) while waiting for the pan to heat, chop the tomatoes and whisk the eggs, then give everything a quick cook until heated, creamy and cheesy.

Best of all, sun dried tomatoes are rich in nutrients, making this a wonderfully healthy, nourishing meal that’s not only quick and easy to make, but also nutritious for you too. (Source.)

The Simple Ingredients For The Easy Recipe

Fork with the easy low carb keto breakfast

There are plenty of great choices when it comes to low carb, keto friendly ingredients to include in the creamy eggs meal:

Eggs – you can use your best eggs in this dish, mine are usually large eggs. Feel free to whisk heavy cream, almond milk or any other ingredient you’d like into your eggs to make them extra creamy.

The eggs can be whisked whole, you can separate the egg yolks and egg whites, whisking them separately before folding together for super light and fluffy eggs. Or if you’d prefer to only make scrambled eggs with egg whites only, you can do that too.

Sun dried tomatoes frying in the skillet

Tomatoes – I’ve included a few chopped sun dried tomatoes, but you may also like to add in fresh tomatoes or sun-dried tomato pesto for an even richer punch of tomato flavor. I just adore incorporating sun dried tomatoes into dishes, they are packed full of flavor, nutritious and keeping a jar in the pantry means that I can always whip up recipes just like this one.

Cheese – an essential ingredient in all kinds of my favorite keto egg dishes, I’ve included grated cheese, but you may prefer to switch to Parmesan Cheese, feta cheese, goat cheese or include a mixture of flavorful cheeses in your egg mixture.

      Adding grated cheese

Seasoning – add in your seasoning of choice, choose from simply adding a sprinkle of sea salt or black pepper, or you could add in oregano, basil or your herb of choice.

Extra Ingredients – feel free to flavor and enhance the flavor of your dish with your choice of extra ingredients, you may choose to add in chopped red onion, a few handfuls of baby spinach or even basil pesto for added flavor.

Yogurt – for a creamy pudding, mix through a few spoons of yogurt. Choose a yogurt that’s low in total carbs and sugars such as plain, natural or Greek yogurt.

Chia Seeds – the star of our chia pudding – I included 2 tablespoons of the healthy seeds, but feel free to use more or less depending if you want a thicker pudding and the texture of chia pudding you want.

        Sugar Free Blueberry Jam Recipe

July 9, 2022 by Easy Keto Living

Sugar Free Blueberry Jam Recipe – How to make easy low carb keto friendly 3 ingredient chia seed jam with no added refined sugars – with the video tutorial.

Sugar Free Blueberry Jam Recipe - How to make easy low carb keto friendly chia seed jam

        Sugar Free Blueberry Jam

Celebrate blueberry season with this sugar free blueberry jam recipe that has no added sugar and is low in net carbs, making it perfect to enjoy as part of a low carb, ketogenic diet.

You only need 3 natural ingredients for the easy blueberry jam – whole blueberries, chia seeds and stevia. You can of course swap the blueberries for any berries you like and substitute the stevia with your low carb sweetener or white sugar alternative of choice that you can find at your local grocery store.

If blueberries aren’t in season you can feel free to use frozen blueberries, which means you can enjoy the perfect jam and fresh blueberry flavor all year around.

        Heating berries in a saucepan

This recipe uses chia seeds as the perfect way to thicken and set the jam, while adding plenty of healthy fiber, without the need for pectin that’s usually used in regular jam.

I prefer to simply mash the healthy blueberry jam with a potato masher for a thick texture. If you’d prefer a smoother texture, then you can pop the cooled jam into a blender or use an immersion blender until smooth to your liking.

        How to make keto jam

Adding a little lemon juice, lime juice or vanilla extract can enhance the natural flavor of jam recipes, so feel free to add some into your healthier homemade jam.

You can enjoy the homemade blueberry jam in any of the following keto friendly ways:

        • As a low carb bread spread or in a keto peanut butter and jelly sandwich
        • Mixed through low carb yogurt
        • As an ice cream topping
        • With keto waffles
        • With keto pancakes
        • With keto bread
        • To sandwich together keto breakfast cookies

Sugar Free Blueberry Chia Jam Recipe

        • 10.5oz-17.7oz/300g-500g Frozen or Fresh Blueberries
        • 1/4 Cup of Stevia or your favorite sweetener
        • 1/4 Cup of Chia Seeds
        1. Place the blueberries into a medium saucepan on the stove top over medium heat.
        2. Heat, stirring regularly, until the blueberries come to a full boil and have become soft and can easily be mashed with the back of a spoon or fork.
        3. Take the sauce pan off of the heat and mash the hot jam until smooth. I like to use a potato masher to mash the berries.
        4. Add the chia seeds and stevia, stir until well combined. Taste to be sure the jam is sweet enough, stirring through more stevia, if needed.
        5. Allow to cool and then pour the jam into a jar and store in the fridge.
        6. Use within a week and enjoy.

Lazy Keto Breakfast Recipes - 10 Easy ideas for the best delicious quick low carb friendly meals

        Lazy Keto Breakfast Recipes

These lazy keto breakfast recipes are loaded with healthy fats and low in grams of carbs, making them perfect to enjoy on the ketogenic diet.

The best part is that all of the Lazy Keto Recipes are perfect for keto beginners or for those of you who have been on a keto journey for a while and looking for fresh breakfast inspiration.

To me, lazy keto means enjoying low carb, high fat meals that fit keto macros, but without actually counting calories. (Here’s a blog post with more tips about how to follow a lazy keto approach.)

        10 Lazy Keto Breakfast Recipes

Here are the 10 Lazy Keto Breakfast Recipes that you can enjoy as part of a weight loss plan or just to enjoy homemade breakfasts made with simple ingredients.

        1. Cheesy Fried Eggs

Lazy Keto Breakfast - Cheesy Fried Eggs

If you like crispy cheese and crisp fried eggs, then these keto fried eggs are the perfect lazy keto diet breakfast for you.

Start by frying a circle of grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese in a frying pan, then crack a couple of eggs over. Cook until the eggs are done to your liking and the base is wonderfully crisp.

Serve with your keto vegetables of choice, like the above pictured mushrooms, for an easy breakfast.

        2. Breakfast Fry Up

        Fry Up

There are plenty of different ways to enjoy a simple fry up on a lazy keto meal plan that’s low in total carbs.

The above big low carb breakfast fry up plate includes:

        • Fried eggs
        • Mushrooms
        • Keto Sausage

It was all cooked/heated up in plenty of coconut oil in a frying pan.

You could cook your eggs any how you like, frying them up with your choice of vegetables from the following low carb foods list:

        • Broccoli
        • Mushrooms
        • Spinach
        • Cauliflower
        • Asparagus
        • Radishes (which fry up like potatoes!)
        • Onion/Garlic (sparingly)

You can use low carb sausages as the meat portion or fry up crispy bacon, leftover roast chicken/meat or any other breakfast protein you like.

Feel free to add a portion of creamy avocado or a slice of cheese like brie for an indulgent breakfast plate.

        3. Lazy Keto Breakfast Hash

        Lazy Keto Breakfast Hash

A breakfast hash makes a hearty keto breakfast that’s high in grams of protein. You can really cook up any low carb vegetables you like and then crack a couple of eggs over.

        Frozen mixed berries

You can enjoy this jam in any of the following keto friendly ways:

        • With keto bread
        • To sandwich together keto breakfast cookies
        Jar of homemade keto jam

        Sugar Free Jam Recipe

        • 500g/1.1lb Berries
        • 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds
        • 1/4 Cup Stevia
        1. Place the frozen berries into a small saucepan on the stove top over medium to high heat.
        2. Heat, stirring continuously, until the berries have become soft and can be easily mashed with the back of a spoon or fork.
        3. Take the berries off of the stove top and mash until smooth. I like to use a potato masher to mash the berries, if you’d like a smoother consistency then you can use a stick blender.
        4. Add the chia seeds and stevia, and stir until well combined. Taste to be sure the jam is sweet enough, stirring through more stevia, if you’d like the jam to be sweeter.
        5. Allow to cool and then pour the jam into a jar and move to the fridge to cool completely and thicken.
        6. Use the jam within a week and enjoy.
